BLANKING | MACHINING | SPARK CUTTING PROCESS

The cutting and machining of components is in our DNA. We have mastered both the creation of cutting tools and the manufacturing of blanked and machined components, as well as those produced using cutting-edge technologies such as electrical discharge machining.

BAR TURNING

We have a range of high-tech bar-turning machines that are capable of machining anything from the smallest component (micro-bar turning) to the most complex. Our fleet of machines reserved for mass production expands this department’s capacities, and we have an isolated workshop located away from the flow of production that is exclusively dedicated to the manufacturing of prototypes.

CUTTING | BURNISHING

We finish bar-turned parts in mass-production batches thanks to our fleet of gear-cutting machines. Using the same technology, the blanked wheels are also cut with high-precision machines. Both cutting machines can handle several million parts per year. These technologies are supplemented by a large burnishing workshop capable of finishing axles and pinions with micron-level precision.

DECORATION

We also consider the dimensional and aesthetic requirements of our products to be of equal importance. Thanks to our decoration equipment, whether it be industrial or traditional, we are able to add a final fine watchmaking touch to our products. Any added value is defined in close collaboration with our clients.

ASSEMBLY

We assemble different parts according to a process tailored to the type and volume of each piece. We try to highlight its qualitative aspect as much as possible. Our production of sub-assemblies undergoes rigorous checks using cutting-edge equipment. Whether they are assembled individually or by robotic means, we guarantee their quality to be exemplary.

Dubois Dépraz, an independent company founded in 1901 in the Vallée de Joux, is now in the hands of the fourth generation. With 420 employees, the company is active in both the Vallée de Joux (VD) and Arch (BE), in Switzerland.
